Grow up now!
It's been some time since I come in here to talk out loud. Just ended a crazy 8 days shoot which almost killed me coz I was gaven less than a week to prepare everything. Althought, its only 2 episodes but we are now talking about HD!!! HD aka high defination, a new media that will change the viewers' sense of visual, where everything on screen looks close to real life - crystal clear. Meaning if you have a pimple on your face it will magnify double the clarity of what we normally seen on analog tv. But seriously, I have tried my very best to match their standard making each and every scene looks its best with the limited capabilities that I have. Which makes me felt that, I have far much more to learn!!~!~!~ I'm to shallow!~!~~! ah!~!~!
Working on this project is an eye opener for me to see how HD is been shot and how film crew actually works. Compared to the normal mini dv that we normal shoot in, HD takes double the time to set up lighting compared to mini dv as it is consider close to film. Each day I felt that its never enought time for us, as we can only film about 5min worth of script. It's not like we shoot one angle and immediately can shoot the next as each angle takes about 20min to light it up.
This shoot has been abit tiring for me as I have two STUPID INTERNS, sorry for been a racist here but seriously MALAY ARE STUPID!~! and sorry for the vegetarians, I guess PORK is good for you! or else you end up been stupid. Each batch of interns gets worst and i'm seriously worried about the new batch of people that is coming into the industry. Please, after a year in this industry I felt its BAD, please dont send in those idiot people to make it WORST!~! Is either they are late with food, or they keep buying the same type of food. If you know that yesterday you have fried rice, dont buy FRIED RICE the next day. And, I have to push button, scream at them to make them more faster. At times, I have to tear them apart, its already been 2-3days into shoot and still can ask me how many packets I need to buy for lunch. IDOITS can't you look into the call sheet and count! There is this one day, I asked one of the intern (this intern is a nephew of my casting director who has been in this industry for 10yrs, this nephew just came back from states for NS so put him here to learn something as well as earn some pocket money), I asked him to come in at 9am to help me with the day props. Been kind hearted as the day before, we have a long day and to go back office to prepare the props after the shoot is abit tiring so I told him to come in tomorrow to work on wrapping the textbooks up. He din't turn up at 9am, as I was busy making adjustment to some of the stuff I can't be bothered. Till like its been an hour he din't turn up, my AD asked me to call and check with him. He din't answer my call, so my AD called again and he said that he has overslept. So we tell him quickly get change and come, than an hour pass and he said that he has a sore throat wants to go and see a doc. I was burning mad!~!~! Called my EP and tell her to settle this thing for me, which she fired him!~! wahahha thought end of the problem but in production is better to have a lousy hand than no hand, so my ep put some slack and tell him to decide whether he wants to come back and work. AH!~!~!~!!!!~~ damn it!~!~
